Mom, I love you www.hbhscn.com |
- By Howard Johnson
“M” is for the million things she gave me,
“O” means only that she’s growing old,
“T” is for the tears she shed to save me,
“H” is for her heart of purest gold,
“E” is for her eyes, with love-light shinning,
“R” means right, and right she’ll always be.
The flower of Mother’s Day
Carnation: a white, pink, red or yellow flower, often worn as a decoration on formal occasions.
Red carnation: long life, admiration, adoration, mother love, impassioned love, passion, injured heart, miss.
Yellow carnation: disappointment, cast away, deprecate, long companionship, refuse, forever thanksgiving, profound assn.
Pink carnation: beautiful, pulchritude, young, devotion, mother love, far love, I love you ardently.
Mother’s love is like a circle, it has no beginning and no ending. Please allow us who are far away from home to give our mothers the late but profound blessing: Mom, happy mother’s day. Your children love you forever.
